Budoshin Ju-Jitsu Black Belts

Below is a listing of all students I have promoted to black belt grades since I started teaching Budoshin Ju-Jitsu in 1967. Students sublisted under a particular black belt were promoted by that black belt.
    Effective September 1, 2003, every Budoshin Ju-Jitsu Black Belt promoted or certified by me will be able to wear the above logo/patch on their gi as a quick means of recognition. [Note that the outer ring is black with white print.] This logo/patch will be issued only to Budoshin Ju-Jitsu Black Belts promoted or certified by me who are members of the BJJY. They should also have their BJJY Certificate of Promotion posted in the dojo. It should have their photo sealed & stamped on it, along with a registration number. They should also have their current BJJY Annual Membership certificate posted in the dojo.
    Effective March 1, 2006, continuous BJJY membership is required of all yudansha who wish to be considered for promotion to any higher yudansha grade. Yudansha also expected to wear BJJY Black Belt patch on left shoulder of gi.
    If a person is claiming to be a black belt in Budoshin Jujitsu and they're not on this list, please e-mail me immediately. It is possible that they may have been promoted by one of my black belts. I will be glad to check it out & get back to you.
    If you are a black belt promoted by Prof. Dennis McCurdy and you wish to be on this list you must be a current member of the BJJY.
    If you were promoted by the late Dr. William Fromm, you must also send me a copy of your certificate of rank issued by him as well as be a current member of the BJJY.

Purple color indicates that the sensei is active and currently teaching Budoshin Ju-Jitsu
